Acoustic Wall Panel Installation Guide: Measuring, Cutting, Mounting

This page covers the practical side: how to calculate the number of panels, how free height cutting works, how silicone mounting is done and which wall surfaces are suitable. The standard 278 cm panel is cut to your ceiling height at the factory and mounted with silicone on arrival.

Step 1: Calculate the Coverage Area

One panel measures 60 × 278 cm × 11 mm and covers 1.67 m². Divide your wall area in square metres by 1.67 to find the number of panels, and add 5-10% for cuts around windows, sockets and corners.

Step 2: Free Cutting to Height

State your ceiling height (for example 250 cm or 290 cm) in the order note and the panels arrive cut to that length with a clean edge. No extra tools or work are needed.

Step 3: Silicone Mounting

Panels are glued to the wall with silicone adhesive; no screws, plugs or battens are required. Panels interlock side by side so the joints form an invisible line.

Suitable Surfaces

• Painted flat walls and plasterboard: yes, with standard silicone on a dry, clean surface
• Ceramic tiles: conditional, surface preparation and a suitable adhesive required
• Bare brick or concrete: conditional, level the surface first
• Wet areas such as shower zones: not recommended; designed for dry interior walls
